Finished in 2014, Memory of a Landslide in Concrete is a sculpture of two homes in Amazonas, Brazil — one wooden, one brick — with a landslide rushing between them.

The sculpture is to call attention to environmental destruction and loss of human life in the Brazilian Rainforest.

Created as part of an interactive installation, Elvis and Marilyn as Gloryholes were displayed in 2013 in Tallahassee, and again in 2015 during Miami Art Basel.

Elvis and Marilyn as Gloryholes were made possible by support from Florida State University and the IDEA Grant.
